I am using Priscilla's Flowering Tree digital stamp this week which of course you can find at Priscilla's store! It was meant for spring but I thought it would make a lovely fall tree. Since I didn't have the correct colors of flower soft to use I made some of my own. CDAC has a tutorial by Shelly Schmidt on how to do this and it worked like a charm!! Thanks Shelly!! What do you think?
I was thrilled with the way the flower soft turned out and how well Priscilla's trees lent themselves to becoming an Autumn beauty! It just shows how versatile her images can be if you will allow your imagination to pull you along. :) As you can see, I used the image twice, the larger of the two in the foreground and the smaller mirrored and in the background for some depth. I really like the way this turned out. Prisma pencils were used for the trunk, grass and sky. This card is going to my cousin in Texas, I hope she enjoys it!
and one more :)

I am a wife, mother and grandmother of two adorable little boys! I have always been a crafter in one way or another but in the past couple of years I have become obsessed with stamping and card making.
I volunteer at my church in a couple of ministries that include sending cards to folks, this is right down my alley! If these cards can bring a smile, or help with whatever circumstance the receiver finds themselves in then I feel I am helping through the talent that God gave me.
I live in NC on a small farm, we have 4 horses and two dogs....these guys keep me busy and smiling! The sunrises out here are amazing and the quiet is blissful! I love our little farm!
